I’m a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist in the state of Indiana. My private practice, Freedom Recovery Group of South Bend, provides outpatient group and individual therapy for adults in recovery from addiction and other compulsive behaviors.

I’ve heard plenty of people say that it takes a recovering addict to know how to help another recovering addict. While there’s some truth to that, I also believe that treatment providers without personal experience with addiction and recovery can learn to be far more effective in their therapeutic alliance with addicted clients and patients — as long as they have a genuine openness to that learning.

To that end, I’m available to consult with other mental health clinicians and coaches with a desire to develop their knowledge of addiction treatment and recovery.
